My interview was scheduled for 07:30 IST Jan 2018 at the Mumbai consulate for EB3 visa. Arrived at 06:50 IST and was asked to wait across the road, opposite the consulate. Immediately, all immigration visa applicants were called forward to the consulate to form the line irrespective of the time slot. We grouped into the queue as a family of 4 and were asked to keep the following documents ready for check:
♣ P4 Letter
♣ Passport Original
♣ Visa Centre stamped DS-260 (received after biometrics)
At 07:05 IST the line started to move forward and initial checked the DS-260 and passport and then into the building for security checks. They asked below general question..
(1). How much your spouse earns.
(2). How did you got married.
(3). Did you went for honeymoon.
After all the discussion final golden words were "CONGRATULATIONS YOUR VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED. "
They have given us a yellow slip, which stays that you can collect the passport in 3 to 5 days

I had to wait 3:30 hours for my turn but worth the wait. Interview was only for 5-10 mins and she approved my visa after asking some really general questions.

I reached New Delhi US Embassy by around 7:30 am for my interview which was scheduled at 8:00 AM. They were only allowing Immigrant visa people inside the embassy and all other Non Immigrant Visa applicants were waiting in a long queue other side of the street. When I told them that we are here for IV they let us in. We were asked to show our interview letter, DS 260 confirmation page (which was stamped during Biometrics) & our passports. After checking we were let in for Security Checks. Medical CD was not allowed therefore we did not carry that with us. We were asked to arrange all our documents in an order – Birth Certificate & it’s copy, Marriage Certificate & it’s copy, PCCs & their copies, Medical reports, Passports. I arranged them all. I was then directed to move to a counter. I was asked to give my documents which I had arranged. She had a look. She asked me few questions.
Who is calling you?
Answered.
What’s your petit... read complete review
