We arrived there fairly early. I had gone from the US to be with my fiance, wasn't really sure if they'd let me into the embassy but was worth a try. Our interview was at 8:00 am and they started letting us form the line outside the embassy around 7:30. I was allowed in without any issues. I told them that I am the petitioner and showed my US passport.

There were two interviews, the first one was by an Indian person and the second one was by an American one. I did not accompany my fiance to the actual interview but was waiting in the seating area and was able to see her during her interview.

Overall the interview experience was positive, the process was fairly efficient. We were out of the embassy at around 10:15am after an 8:00am interview. The seating area is fairly small and there's a lot of other business being done other than just visa interviews so the entire place looks fairly cramped (typical of an Indian govt. offical building).

The visa office asked a few question about my age, my children's age, her age. We have a age difference of 15 years. He then asked why I do not keep my children with me. That Moron does not have any idea of US laws. The custody of the chlidren goes to the mother unless one can prove in the court that she is not capable of taking care of the children and that is very hard to prove. CO did ask the same questions about the age.

I would like to give a rating of MINUS 10.
