Hi All,
I want to share my interview experience to all of you so that you can prepare yourself well accordingly. I will try my level best to cover each and every thing.
12 Aug 2008 Day before I slept at 11:30 after checking each and everything and my husband took holiday to help me. We were communicating whole day through phone and online. He is so sweet. I love him so much.
13 Aug 2008
I woke up at 3:30 Am and freshen up by 4:00 Am. Then I offered prayer to God with peace of mind. I have booked taxi two days before and confirm his arrival on 12 th. My Parents in law, my sister in law all in US prayed for me so much and ringed me to give their blessings and suggestion for interview. They all are so sweet and so much supportive. K1 rejected at Chennai Consulate,
Hello everyone, I am new member to VJ
We applied for 1-129F @ California service center on December 18, 08 and got the interview date for June 26, 2008 for K1 visa @ Chennai consulate. After three people interviewed and grilled her and a long wait from 8:am to 5 m (9HOURS) they made her sign a sworn statement stating that we are already married and that she is withdrawing the K1 petition. CO issued a white 221G form stating the file will be sent back to USCIS for the final disposition.
Prior to applying I-129F we had a religious wedding ceremony in India but we never did a legal nor registered marriage. We did not provide any of those photos in the original application nor at the time of the interview. I think they had suspected that we were married.
Can you please let me know what to expect next?
Did we commit a fraud?
Will USCIS send me any letter? And if they do, what should I e... read complete review

My wife arrived at the consulate at 7:00 a.m. for her 7.30 a.m. interview. However, first of all finger print was taken by consulate and then they inform her to wait for the interview. Overall my wife's experience at the Mumbai Consulate was very satisfying. She said the staff was friendly and everything went very nice. At 10:30am she - Called for interview (Oath taken)
Questions Asked: The consulate officer asked her five to six very simple questions such as spouse's name? How do you know each other? How long has it been since your marriage? Where did you go for your honeymoon? What is your father-in-law name is? Basically all questions were related to our relationship.
However, interview was tremendously easy and short. The person conducting the interview didn't even look at any of the supporting documents.I hope this will helps.
Good Luck and God Bless America.
