My fiance had his interview today. it went well, CO didn't wanted any more proof of relationship, she said she has all the papers and pictures from when the application was submitted originally.
Then questions CO asked him:
what is his name?
what is my name?
How we met?
Has he traveled out of country before? (which he had)
then the following questions were related to his visit to Italy- When, Where, why, how?
He said CO kept on tying while she asked the questions. after everything was done she took his medical, affidavit of support, my tax returns, W2s, and pay subs. he took oath. but apparently there was something missing on his medical (the sealed envelope). so CO gave him a sealed envelope and told him to take it back to Chandigarh (where he had his medical done at) and give it to physician and have the missing information filled. THEN re-submitted via VFS with his passport. and if he still qualifies they will stamp his pass... read complete review

my fiance passed the interview
she reached early at 645am, got the security check done and went inside.
called her at the window for the first time, and collected all the paper works.
called her again after a while for actual interview.
did not really ask whole lots of questions - just the basic one's on who we met, and how long has she known me for. how many times i visited her, and what do i do here in USA.
interviewer did take a look at our photo album. when we got engaged in jan 09, we had created a nice big photo album of our engagement - so he spent almost good 3 minutes looking at our album. so in other words photos do help a lot.
he did not even ask about the proof of relationship (as photos were enough) like phone records, skpye & yahoo chat records.
lastly, i had a co-sponserer. somewhere on Visa Journey i have read that my co-sponserer need to fill out I-864, but NO mumbai cons... read complete review

The interview went very well. They asked common questions to my wife about where I work, who I live with, how far is my work, what kind of car do I drive. They asked my wife if she had form to convert K-3 to CR1, but she didn't. After spending about 5 mins in the interview, they issued the visa. My wife requested to pick up the visa, but they denied the request.

This is our experience with Packet 3...I couldn't find anything this specific on VJ, so I decided to post this to help others.
After receiving the NOA2 I tracked the application with NVC using the EAC number (603-334-0700 press 1 then 5) and once I knew that the petition had arrived at the Mumbai Consulate, I called the Department of State (202-663-1225 press 1 then 0), and after giving them my BMB case number they told me Packet 3 had been mailed out to my financee from the Mumbai Consulate.
However after 4 days she had not received it, so we called the Consulate (022 6654 7600) and they said they couldn't track the status and it could take two months to receive Packet 3 (which was a misleading because we knew they had already sent it).
So I sent an email (mumbaiiv@state.gov) to the Consulate telling them that DoS had told me they sent it but we hadn't received it and asked if it was okay if my finance appeared in person to submit the... read complete review

First of all She received her visa after 4 long hours of wait. There were about 40 interview schedule on Oct 8th 2009. Questions asked by interviewer 1) What school your fiancé went to? and 2) Where does he work? Then approved.
