I will say this first, your fiancé or fiancée is not allowed to go into the embassy with you. The lady that works at the embassy had said that I would be allowed in on the phone, but the guards at the gate are very strict, no personal appointment and you can't get in.. There were 5 interviews that day, all the significant others including me had to wait outside in the freezing rain ðŸ˜
My fiancé waited there for two and a half hours before he had his 10 minute interview. 95% of the questions regarded a previous denied entry to the US.. He was asked the following questions about us:
1.) How did we meet?
2.) How many times we've seen each other in person?
3.) What are your exact wedding plans?
That's all. They asked for no evidence of our relationship and the only papers they took from him were the I134. Everyone was nice and thins moved along very quickly, we got our visa in two days 😀

Everyone was so helpful and kind. I brought way more docs what they have asked They didn't even check the evidences about our relationship. They asked when and where did we meet, when I plan to go to the US. The consular lady was really really kind.

Her interview went according to plan with the exception of the embassy rescheduling her interview. We scheduled the earliest interview possible online, then the Monday before, they emailed her and said they weren't going to be open and they rescheduled her to the next available, which was about 2 weeks later. Really pissed us off, but what can you do.
Interview was 2 questions because I had legal residence there for 3 years. Why did he live in the little dump town I lived in, and had she been to America before. Some jokes and smiles and that was about it. Nothing to worry about at all.

People at the consulate were very helpful and nice. The interview with the consul took about 15-20 minutes. The questions asked were the "usual" ones about how and when we met, whether we've seen each other in person, where we are going to live, etc.

The interview was a pleasant experience. Everything went fine, both the Hungarian embassy employee and the American CO were nice. I was a little nervous at the beginning - I guess I read too many of the stories - but in the end it turned out there is no need for that.
