Segundo consul me llamara...

****Disclaimer, I could not attend the interview with my wife due to a military mission****

My wife arrived at the embassy around 0545 and was second in line. Around 0645, a lady came around checking her appointment letter and finally got inside the embassy around 0700. She waited around 45 minutes before getting called to the window where fingerprints were taken and she was asked for my birth certificate and divorce decree; she was also given back documents sent to USCIS and NVC which were no longer needed. After that, she was told to take a seat and listen for her name to be called for the interview.

At around 10 Am, she was finally called and went to a room where she was asked who was the petitioner, how did we meet, whether she has been to the US before, and then shown a picture and asked to identify me (Her brother and cousin were in the same picture). After 5 minutes, she was told that her visa was approved and given instructions on how to pay the $1... read complete review

We had our interview jan.20, the CO said congratulation guys your visa has been aproved.

Disclaimer: I didn't attend the interview with my fiance because I am a student and it would have been difficult for me to get to Honduras without missing a great deal of work.

My fiance said that the interview was relatively painless, probably because he has gotten different VISA types to come to the US before (J1 & B) so he was used to the interview process. We were a little nervous because this was a same-sex application which must be new for everyone at the embassy.

He was interviewed after only about an hour and a half of waiting. They called him up and asked for all of the paperwork. Luckily, my preperation of the paperwork packet for him to submit was thorough and he wasn't missing anything. He was then asked some really simple questions about his visits to the USA, if he ever stayed in the US illegally. They asked him about one time where he stayed 10 days past his J1 VISA expiration date, but he was honest and just told them he had trouble wi... read complete review
