'm here in Haiti with my fiancé too until he flies out. I work remotely so I am able to work everyday still for my job.
WE WERE APPROVED this morning.
I went with him this morning expecting to wait outside. But, they actually let me in. We had the original NOA2 and because it had my name on it (and I had my passport), they let me in.
We got there at 7:20 for an 8 AM appointment. The appointment times mean nothing. First step, you walk up to the guards and the tourist visa folks stand in one line and the permanent resident applicants stand in other line. It was about 60 people in line when we arrived in the permanent resident line and they were letting people in 8 - 10 at a time. It moved smoothly and we were there for about 25 minutes.

About 1 and a half hours total that my fiance was in there. They asked a few questions our relationship,about my job,how long we been together,our wedding date. Then gave a 221g for extract of my (uscitizen) divorce. But he had my divorce decree with him,when he came out in tried to go back in to let them know he had what they are asking for,but instead they ade us send by dhl took a little longer but checking ceac,it went fast from ap to ready to ap back to ready than issued. His interview was May 15th, sent papers back to DHL on 17th embassy closed Fri 18th so recieved Monday 21st it updated. 22nd I came back home ro states.Then by 24th it was issued 29 dhl had it my fiance came home June 1st 2018...almost 1 year from the date we started the process. June 26th 2017

Question- my husband has been here in the states since October. We are now applying for his three sons. Does anyone know how long it usually takes? I applied for the 15 year old and he applied for the other two- ages 20 and 22.
