My fiance's 1st interview was June 5th. He was asked the normal questions, who is sending for you, where does she work, what are her parents name, etc. My fiance answered everything correctly. But the CO asked if i had ever been to Haiti. My fiance said no we met in the Dominican Republic. The CO told my fiance I really want to approve your visa but I cannot because your fiance has never been to Haiti. She gave my fiance a 221(g).
July 27, 2012: My fiance and I arrive at the embassy. There was a line. I bypassed the line. I showed my US passport, they checked a paper to make sure my fiance's name was there. It was so we were able to get in immediately. We stood at window (19 i think) we waited over 30 minutes for them to take our passports. A man finally came to the window and told us to have a seat. There were soooo many people applying for visitor visa's most were denied. My heart hurt for them because they just want a better life.

We were originally scheduled for June 29th. I took the time off from work and bought my ticket to attend the interview with him. A week before I was scheduled to leave, they called him to reschedule. Talk about pissed. I still went anyway to see my honey. Moving on to July 25th. My husband arrived a quarter till 7 and had no issues in the lines or anyone trying to window 19. He says the consular was a pleasant lady who asked about 6 questions; where did we meet? how many times have we been to Dom. Republkic? does he know my mom? does he know my dad? Do they like him? And how often do we see each other? The consular reviewed our pics and told him he is qualified for the visa. They did ask for him to bring an original document back. Otherwise all is well. My love will be here soon.

My mom got there at 5:30am as she waited in lign she had 2 people in front of her and a man came up to her and told her that she needed to complete another form to get in which would cost her $80 for him to give it to her it was a scam right away my mom called me and my dad and we told her to just stay in lign and don't listen to the people coming up to her telling her she needed extra things for money.. When she got in the building she said a nice lady called her at a window and asked her to give her all of the documents and just sit and wait her turn she was so nervous waiting cause there was alot of denials and again they called her in another window the CO asked her the following questions
Where do I go to school?
What's my major?
Where do I live?
Do I have any kids?
Am I married? The CO tried to trick her by saying we have the papers that said she is married.. My mom responded by saying I know my daughter she don't even have a boyfriend y... read complete review

he got there at 5:45AM, he was the third person in line for the visa line, when he got to the front the security told him he should have been in the green card line after looking at his interview letter...so he was a little upset because that line was longer..once inside the first person he came in contact with asked for the original receipt for the visa, he told them he sent it with the application, she told him they have all the pics. and just wait for them to call his name.
he sat near the same consulate that would call his name, he did not want to go to her because she gave out alot of denials... when he got to her window, she had our pictures in her hand, she went over them several time while smiling then she asked him to tell her a little story about our relationship, which he did, than the questions
1) what is my date of birth
2) how old am
3) How old is he
4)do I have any kids, and how many..He told her on... read complete review
