When I had my interview, I was asked about three or four questions and the young lady just pulled out the approval slip and gave it to me. She didn't have to print it out or anything.

My interview was scheduled for 9:00am and my husband and I got there around 8:45. We sat there until 10:35am and then someone came out and had us take the oath. After which, we had to wait another half hour or so. Finally they called my name and instructed which window I was to go to. Got up to the window, a very polite gentleman asked for all my documents and my husband's 2015 taxes. He asked for my pictures, my recent copy of my birth certificate, an updated police clearance and that was about it. He stapled everything together and I was ten printed then told us to sit back outside until I hear my name called.

After about ten minutes, my name was called again and my husband and I went into the room. A very polite young lady was gonna be conducting our interview and she as... read complete review

During our interview process we waited outside in line with about 40 other couples who had appointments that day. They called us by appointment time and we had to stand up in another line to go through the metal detector. When our turn came and they saw I had a U.S Passport in my hand they made me skip everyone and leave my husband behind so I could go in first. My husband came through 5 minutes later and we had to put his watch and cellphone in a locker before we entered. We waited about 2.5 hours to be called (we were basically almost last). We had a woman who interviewed us. She was being really difficult with me as she refused to believe I was married to my husband out of love. She tried to make it feel like it was an arrange marriage. She asked me how long we would talk on the phone and how many times and I told her for hours and 3 times a day. Before we went to work, on my lunch break, when I came home, and before we went to bed. We also use to skype and talk to each other everyn... read complete review

Appointment was at 7:30 AM. My fiance and I arrived at 7.00 AM, the line wasn't too long so we were inside within 10 minutes. Seated in the waiting area, until my name was called, went inside where they collected my passport, our birth certificates, my police certificate and his i-134. After that we went back to the seating area. Don't remember exactly after how long but it seem really fast when they called my name again. Went in to another window where we were being interviewed.

Questions that she asked were:
- how did you two meet and when did you meet face to face
- how long have you know each other
- if we have plans for the wedding and when it will be
- are my parents coming to the wedding in the states
- if we were born in the same country

After a few question she told us that my visa was approved!!

YAY!!!

By 8:30 AM we were outside the Embassy.

Both me (USC) and her (Fiance) attended the interview.
We got there quite a bit early and where still not the first ones. Appointment time was for 0800 and we arrived at about 0645. After the long wait for the embassy to start taking in people, we were the very first in-line when they separated the lines between immigrant and non immigrant. We were astonished to find that we were not on any list to enter for that day, even though we had the interview letter and all proper paperwork. Throughout the wait they continuously told us that we would be front loaded when they found our paperwork since we were the very first people for 0800 appointments. After a long hour+ wait and now being at the very back of any line that had formed, they finally found our names and allowed us to enter, at the very back of the everyone else.
We then waited for a bout 20 min to get our names called to enter and turn in our paperwork before the actual interview. The woman we went to was not nice o... read complete review

I was present for my fiancé's interview. Interview time was 8:00am we were there since 7:30am and went through security and were seated in an outside area until we heard our name. First time our name was called the interviewer asked for our birth certificates, tax information, and we paid the fee. Then we returned outside and waited for an American to interview us, questions were; how did we meet, how long were dating, when did we get engaged, pictures of our engagement party and she asked us to show family who flew in for the party, wedding plans, she asked to see my ring, and I think that was it and we were approved.
