Arrived at 8 am and left before 10. Not many people were there - they took out documents first then we got called to a window for the interview. The person was quick asked maybe 4/5 questions and we got approved and given the blue slip. Very smooth process.

We had to wait literally 6 hours in the waiting area for our interview. However, when finally getting in the officer was very professional and nice. She asked everything she needed clarity on and allowed us the give thorough and complete answers. I would say the interview lasted about a total of 10-15 minutes. We are still so happy with the interview process. No complaints regarding the Guyana embassy...only thing would be is that they take people a little quicker lol but that's all.

The staff at the Guayana embassy were very professional. The lady who interviewed us looked over the evidence we submitted and asked us some questions. All of her questions were reasonable, nothing out of left field, and nothing a couple should not be able to answer. Our evidence was ample and we both reviewed it prior to the interview. We had been together several years at that point, so there was a lot to review. The only bad part of the experience was having to wait outside in the tropical humidity. The waiting area was covered and had fans, but that’s only moderately comforting to this A/C baby.

Very straight forward process. Walk with all your required and just in case documents. You never know. But ours was simple fact checking, then approved.
