Im just waiting for them to receive the 221 (g) paperwork that I sent, but everything went fine in the interview and the agent was very nice.

Both attended interview. The woman was very nice, unfortunately, we forgot the cover sheet to the police certificate at home and went into AP. Cargo Expressed back to the embassy the same day. Should have had visa the following week, but consular affairs system crashed which took 23 more days to get visa issued. All in all, went very well. Just make sure you have good evidence of relationship and ALL the documents they request for interview.

We were scheduled for an 8am interview, and we arrived at 7:30am. We entered the embassy smoothly, and waited about 2 hours before our number was called. That conversation was about 8 min long. Very simple questions that any legitimately married couple could answer. I was allowed to stand next to my wife the entire time and there was a felt sense that I was included in the interview. This ... read complete review

I didn't go to the interview with my fiance since I am currently living in the US (which is why we're doing this in the first place!), but I would like to say that since many of the instructions can be vague and confusing, I have used the chat option under the contacts section of the embassy website (http://www.ustraveldocs.com/gt_es/gt-main-contactus.asp). They have been very helpful in guiding us to click the right buttons and in correctly updating us on the status when the automated thing was behind. I definitely recommend using the chat option for any questions you may have...they are very prompt and are quickly able to answer your questions! javascript:emoticon('')
As for the interview, everything seemed to go as others have said...get there early, have all of your paperwork organized with copies, and don't forget to print out all of the documents that your fiance sent you (... read complete review
