After almost a year after filing our interview was approved for October 20th, at 8:30am. Thanks in advance to members of VJ and also the Ghana and US Families on FB, we were well prepared with documentation (phone logs -ghana and US,emails, whatsapp chats (very easy to keep track), police report, new Ghana birth certificate, medicals, photos). She was asked just three questions and was told while all the paper work was in order we needed a co-sponsor. I tried through senator's office to explain that was not the case but we still got one anyway. I was in Ghana for our second interview on the 17th of November @1:30pm. The security staff were rude at times but for most of the time we had a positive experience. We were granted the visa. The Embassy staff can be non-cooperative at times but just do as they require, have everything in order and barring any egregious mistakes you should sail through. This has been a long and tedious process but being with my wife is a more enjoyable experience
