I went there for the interview and to our surprise after so much preparation, we get to the window and the officer says "And who are you?" I introduce myself. He asked if he could return the mounds of skype, facebook, and phone records I brought to us and that he would keep only the things they really needed. Then he says, "So you 2 have been married for 2 years, huh?" I say no sir 9 months. He then stamps a few forms and hands us a blue slip that is for visa pick up and we were done. We were in the "interview" for all of 3 minutes.

Finally another step in our journey has been completed. It has been a long and difficult journey but I am happy to say that thanks be to God we have been successful. My visa interview in reality started the night before, after my fiancé and I checked and double, triple checked all of our paperwork we thought to go to bed early as our next day would start very early. It would not happen we both lay awake most of the night overturning every possible scenario in our heads. I don’t recommend going to your interview sleepless if it can be at all avoided. We showed up at the embassy at 530 am my fiancé, stepson and I. We sat next to a very kind woman also on Visa Journey telling of her experience along the way. She was a true godsend as she had been in our shoes just the week before. She was our guide and we will forever be in her debt. We had been told that my fiancé and stepson might not enter with me but luckily they were allowed to accompany me every step of the way. First... read complete review

I apologize, but I didn’t get all the details as of yet my fiancé is pretty busy in Ghana. But I thought I would share what my fiancé told me and update my review in the near future. My honey said he got there around 6:00am in the morning. He said they began letting people inside around 7:30am. The total time he was at the embassy was a total of about 3 ½ -4 hours. He said that he was treated well and that everything went smooth. He said he paid the fee of $240 and waited to be interviewed. He said it was a Caucasian man who interviewed him. He said that the man was surprisingly VERY NICE. The interviewer only asked him about 7 questions. The man asked such questions as: How did we meet? What type of work did I do for a living? What are our future plans together? Why did he choose to marry an American woman? Where do I live? Have we met in person? Then he asked a question relating to my religious background. He wanted to know was I born in into my religion. He a... read complete review
