I got to the embassy at 0620 and had my breakfast while waiting for the front door security person to call us in to verify our appointments. Some run to occupy the front row. After I got my appointment verified, I went through the first entrance and a security check after which I was directed to the room where the actual proceedings would take place.
I handed in my appointment letter and was called to Window I in approximately 20 minutes. The lady, who was Ghanaian, was initially nice but raised her voice when she realized I was being slow. She gave me a DS-156K to fill and a leaflet to take to the cashier to pay the visa fee. My passport-size pictures had a glare so I was asked to go outside and retake them, which I did.
When I returned, I paid the fee of 480 GHS. I then submitted my pictures, the visa payment receipt and the filled DS-156K document to Window I. I asked if she needed any supporting documents and she said no.

Hi everyone.To God be the glory and when He leads you,there is no were you will go and fail.Just have faith and everything will happen in a twink of an eye.It was 5:00 am here when my day started yesterday to the U.S Embassy.Got there like 6:40 am and there were a lot of people there already.So we waited for them to call us in front of the door for us to get in.I did get in and my nervousness broke in but then it wasn't showing so it ok lol.I submitted my appointment letter and then i sat down for my name to be called.Sat like 30 minutes and my name was called to window 1.it was a Ghanaian woman which she said i should bring all my stuff out and hand it to her.She was mean but then i kept my smiley face alive for her.After checking she said i should go to the cashier to go pay for my visa fee which i did and then sat down again for my name to be called.Sat like 20 minutes and then i was called again to finger print which i think it was to verify my passport.Then i went and sat again f... read complete review

I just want to start by saying Thank you to VJ and everyone who help me throught this though time, Thank God the visa is approved, wife interview was 7:30AM and she was there an hour earlier, these are the questions that she was asked, only 3 question, how long have you known your husband, how many times has he visited you and how did we met and all were answered correctly.
Thanks a lot everyone who contributed to my many post and those who read them as well Thank you and I pray for every to also finish this race succesful, what I have learnt through this journey is "preparation is the key and always stay on top of your case. God Bless

Wife got there. waited for 4 hours to be called.
file fron loaded at USCIS and NVC.
Asked about why i invited wifey in 2010 as my cousine
instead of fiancee.
Also asked
who filed for you.
who paid for the wedding.
whats my profession.
