My fiance' arrived at 615am and waited until about 7am before he was caled inside the embassy. He paid the fee, had his finger prints taken and waited to be called for his interview. He was aksed three questions:
Who petitioned for you?
Who is the little girl in the pictures?
When was the last time you saw your fiance'?
He was told to return on Fri 2/8 to get his visa.
Glory be to God!!!!

To God be the glory, great things he has done and greater things he will do! After almost a year of patiently waiting, today was the day I went for the interview, I got to the embassy at 5:45am and at exactly 7am a security man called us in.
I got inside and my appointment letter was taken. I was asked to sit and wait for my name to be called. After sitting for almost 30 minutes, a lady called me to window one and gave me a form to fill, she then took all my documents I sent for the interview including my passport and asked me to pay the visa fee of 240$ and wait.
I was then called back and all my ten finger prints were taken, there I also submitted the forms I was given earlier plus the receipt from the payment of the visa application fee. I was asked to sit and wait again
After 30 minutes of waiting I heard a lady called my name with style .....lol. I smiled and went to window 3 were the real interview took place. My fiancee had already... read complete review

Denial or AP? We can track the case here:
https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==
It says AP but the letter he received at the interview never asked for missing information and said ineligible under 221(g).
Honestly we don't know or understand what happened.
Hoping to hear something....anything soon.
Interviewed January 9.

My wife just picked up my 5 month old son's passport and his CRBA certificate. The process was pretty straight forward thanks to help on Visajourney. Since I left Ghana a few days after his birth I was unable to report his birth because there was no appointment available.
My wife took in the required documents on December 12, 2012 and she was told to come a few weeks later for the passport. So she just picked it up today. Glory be to God.
This is the list of documents needed for the US embassy in Accra for CRBA (Counselor Report of Birth Abroad). My wife needed these because I was not in Ghana.
- DS-2029 (notarized)
- Affidavit of Residence (notorized) remind me, you have to print another page.
- DS-3053 consent form (notorized
- 2”x 2” full face passport photo with white background. 2 for DKAB II
- DS-11 US Passport application (unsigned) You'll sign it at embassy for (DKAB II)
- Birth Cert. of DKAB... read complete review
