Review Topic: I-1 Visa

Today was my husbands second interview. He wanted to arrive at noon to be one of the first in line but he arrived at 12:50 ten mins b4 his interview. Although he was last to join the line he was the first to be called upon. he was called to the window to submit additional info and told to have a seat while she reviewed it. After about 30 mins he was called back and told to submit his passport. the lady was speaking so fast he cant recall what she said but he heard "RETURN FRIDAY 5/17 TO RETRIEVE YOUR VISA DONT MAKE ANY FLIGHT ARRANGEMENTS UNTIL UR VISA IS IN HAND, CONGRADULATIONS". Thank you God this process is done!!!

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

Hello everyone,

So after three interviews with the U.S. embassy in Ghana, our documents were sent back to the U.S. The three interview consisted of the same questions and providing detailed documentation in which the Officer didn't feel comfortable issuing the visa for my husband to come to U.S. Regarding the three interviews, each officer didn't do a good job, they didn't really read the documentation which were what they had asked for. They insisted that there wasn't enough information so the result is not a denial but we are thrown into the world of Administrative Process and everything has been sent back to the U.S. Am I upset? No. A little frustrated? Yes. But God gets the glory no matter what and I will continue to praise him for his goodness and mercy. Due to process has been a learning experience and for those who are up next be of good courage. What happen to me and my wonderful husband may not happen to you. Everyone be Blessed
