Never in my life did I ever imagine me and my husband would still be apart for nearly two years. The same experience my husband had at the embassy in Accra is almost the same others have experienced with trifling consular officer KM. I'm starting to believe what we are going through is some kind of plan by the government. The American government is acting like gangstas. Taking people's money and have them waiting forever knowing damn well they are not going to approve them. If they don't want Ghanaians coming to America they should say so. Stop wasting people's time. How are you going to tell people they dont have a real marriage because they just met. You should have more evidence than that. Me and my husband have a 18 year old son and they still don't believe our marriage is real. Couples need to have a back up plan. If you don't want to live in Ghana find some other place. America is not all that.

my interview was on the 16th of july. i was scheduled for 7:30 am. i got there around 6;00 and it was raining. we got called around 8;00 and the process began. i was called to the first window where my documnets were taken. i had a lot of them. what they really needed was tax returns, irs, tax transcripts and w2. so bank statements , pay stubs were all returned to me. i also went with an album with the pics well labelled. pics of us in 2010 before our traditional marriage, pics of traditional marriage with both families, pics of our court marriage 2 yrs later, pics of us and our daughter, our call history from 2013 till date, money transfer reciepts from 2013 till date, etc, all well labelled.
after submitting these, i was called to the next window for my finger prints to be taken. about 10mins later i was called to window five for the real interview.
she asked who petioned me, how did i meet my husband, ai said through a friend, she asked how i knew that firend, i sa... read complete review

We were very disappointed with the Consular that interviewed my husband. The lady asked for the requested documents for our case and any other proof we were submitting. We had a lot of proof that we submitted. When I had to send the original copy of our marriage certificate to the Passport Center to get my name changed on my passport I questioned sending the "original". I was told they ALWAYS returned the original...WELL... ours was NOT returned. They put a tracer on our original document but no where to be found...We had a certified copy of our marriage certificate with the official seal and stamp on it. The lady accepting our documents on the day of our interview did not accept it and put a line through the place saying it was submitted. When my husband was called up to be interviewed...I stepped up to the window and was quickly told that the interview was for him and for me to please have a seat. AND...I quickly told her that our certified marriage certificate was not acknowledged a... read complete review

221(g) After interview on the 7 October 2014 our case was put on AP. Asking us to submit Co-sponsor, DNA test for our 16 month old son and put on Administrative Processing. After asking us to submit such document they also wrote on the paper given to me (we will call you) The DNA sample was arranged and paid for by my wife in one of the recommended hospitals in the USA by the US embassy in the Ghana. A month later after my interview the embassy called me to come over and was told they are sending our case back to USCIS for revoke. Because my wife has never been to Mexico and her ex husband too has never been to Mexico, means my wife has no right to apply for the divorce degree in Mexico. The consular told me my wife has to divorce her ex husband and re-marry me again. USCIS got the case the on 10th February 2015 and ever since the case has been updated twice, we involve the mayor of Maryland and the embassy told the mayor that our marriage was a (SHAM) married. My wife has contacted t... read complete review
