My fiancé says the interview went great! It was just a conversation with a “bank style” approach. It mimics you going into the bank to see a teller. Here are the questions they asked him…(not in exact order)
1.) Who petitioned for you?
2.) What do you like about her?
3.) What does she like to do for fun?
4.) What kind of movies/tv shows does she watch?
5.) How did you meet?
6.) What does she do for work?
7.) Have you been arrested before?
8.) Have you been married before?
9.) Have you ever been to the USA?

Overall Experience was quite good. Waiting time before entry to the interview area after entering the consulate was about 3 hours but i cant blame them, the people were a lot. i submitted my documents to window 2. and was asked to sit and wait for my name to be mentioned for the actual interview.
I actually went with my mum who was petitioned for an IR1 visa. most of the questions were directed to her.
Spouse name
spouse age
where they met
joint properties
why marry him
when marriage occured
Divorce dates.
and the follow up questions to me about
my name
Date of birth
marriage status
kids?
when i completed high school and college.
after 15 mins she said you visas are approved then gave me a document to go online and sign up for passport tracking and document delivery. and thats that. i'm currently waiting for the passport, i was told it's 5-10 days dont know if that includes weeke... read complete review

I'm a Ghanaian, but I'd my interview at the Sierra Leonean embassy in Freetown. It was a nice experience. The only negative thing on the day was how we were left to the mercy of the rains that morning due to the inability of the embassy to open a faulty gate leading to the interview room. The questions asked were: Your name?
What's your wife's name?
When was the last time you saw your wife?
Is this your first marriage?
Is this your wife's first marriage?
Do you've kids?
How old is your daughter?
When was she born?
Lesson learnt in this visa interview is that, don't panic if your relationship is genuine.

The Consular was very courteous during my fiancé interview. He spoke very highly of the professionalism and the comfortability that was present. If anything could be made better, it would be the response to inquiries made to the consular. I had to send 4 to receive a response to the last inquiry sent.
