Questions
Have I traveled outside Ghana?
Has your wife ever been married?
Does she have children?
Do I have children?
He was approved!!
The CO was a nice woman she came to shake my hands and said congratulations in advance and when she was leaving she hugged me and said I will see u in America! My husbands experience and the average wait was 4 hours for the whole process. He said the atmosphere was calm and not one of tension. Just relax and be confident and honest. Good luck!

My husband arrived at 8am for his 9:30am appointment. He was called for finger prints and to present original and supporting documents to a ghanaian lady according to him with no smiles or eye contact but he didn't pay her attention because we already read about her. Was later called at 1:15pm ish for interview and qtions asked were
How did we meet
What work does your wife do
Do you have kids with wife
And that was it. CO said I'm approving you and congrats and was given a white sheet with details to create account for passport pickup in three weeks at DHL. It was a long wait however it came out successful.
I thank all VJ house members, your comments and timelines were very helpful to us. I Pray all will also have a successful visa journey. Let's be patient and pray for each other. And please let's try to update our timelines so it can help others. God bless.

We were denied. Our petition expired on June 7, 2019. They scheduled our interview in May knowing the petition would be expired. So I went to Ghana and we got Married on September 27, 2019.
Please be sure to re-validate your petition. I was told the embassy automatically re-validate them. That was not so in our case. Our goal was to get married, so we did. We will be filing the CR-1. If that's not approved, I may be re-locating to Ghana. The visa isn't our goal, being together is.
