Our interview was at 8 am. We arrived at 7:40 parking was easy, right on the other side of the road, it’s free parking until 9am and really cheap after that. We walked up to the entrance, there are signs in English and German, u will find everything easily. The lady at the first window asked for my passport and the visa confirmation page, then gave me a number and sent us to the security check. We didn’t wait long outside at all, and there are heaters before the security check u have to take everything out of your pockets and put them into a bag but u can keep that bag and everything else too. We walked to the next building and the lady at the front desk sent us right to window 22. Here the guy takes your passport and puts it to your file with the petition. We had to wait seated for a few minutes and got called to the next window, here the lady asked a few questions like name, phone number and confirmation of my travels to the US. After that we had to ... read complete review

I waited for 3 hours but when it was my turn, the interview took only about 10 minutes and then the officer congratulated me and said "You're goot to go! Congratz!"

Review Topic: Direct Consular Filing

We had such a great experience with the Frankfurt consulate. From start to finish, they were so helpful, prompt & friendly in answering all our questions (which were numerous) via email. Everything went fine with the paperwork process – they were very efficient. And they were friendly in person too with the interview process. Quite happy with how it went and we are grateful to the kind folks there!

Everything went easy and smooth. My inverview was in the morning and it was super easy to get a parking slot. Before getting in, you will have to pass the security checks (make sure not to bring any electronical devices, including phones and smart watches) and it took me like 20-40min to get inside. After that you will go to 2 different windows to get your interview processed. At the last window, you will have your actual interview. They asked me about how I met my fiance and how he proposed. It took around 5min and I got approved. I received my passport and visa 4 days after the visa. Thumbs up!!
