My interview was scheduled for 8.30, arrived there at 8.20. There was a very long doubleline outside, once inside you get a number and get called to the first window pretty fast, just explains how you will get your Visa, you give up any requested documents here, get info on what to do after you get your Visa. Took like 5 min, then waited again for about 20 min for the actual interview, also a window, the IO was really nice, asked how we met, when we decided to get married, and what my husband does. Then said he don't see a reason not to give me a Visa, that was it I left after about 45 min of being in the embassy.. got my passport 4 days later

Our interview was on 01/31/20 and the time was scheduled for 8:00 am. My fiancé and I arrived 30 minutes early, but we were let in. I have read about cases where people had to wait until the scheduled time, but that did not seem to be the case with us.

I had a different birth name then my current name since my parents married when I was a child, so they asked me about that, but it was no problem since I had a document proving the name change.
Our interview took around 5-10 minutes. Our officer was friendly, but not as hyper friendly as some people have described.
The questions were:
When did you meet?
Did you live abroad?
How long ... read complete review

I had my interview on March 3rd 2020.
In Frankfurt, you have to wait outside first before you can go through security. I waited for around 50 minutes, which was fine, because it was sunny and I had a warm jacket and a scarf with me. So you should bring warm clothing and an umbrella, just in case it starts raining. I had to go to the left line first and I needed to show them my passport and they gave me a waiting number. Then they told me to line up for security at the end of the right line.
I went through security and they told me I couldn’t take my x-ray cd with me, which my doctor told me to bring to the interview. But it wasn’t a problem, since they just gave me a number and kept it for me in exchange.
You can’t bring any sorts of electronics so leave you phone or laptop in the car/hotel/at home.
After passing security, I went on a small path from the security building to the actual consulate building, where a woman at a reception... read complete review
