I arrived in front of the embassy at 12h50 (appointment at 13h). The guard at the entrance asked for my appointment letter, passport and briefly checked my handbag then let me go ahead. The first door leads you to the security check where they take away any electronic devices (in my case my phone) and give you a yellow tag to get everything back when you exit the embassy. After the checking is done you can now enter the embassy itself. The lady at the front desk checked my letter, handed me a ticket and told me to go to the waiting room and wait for my ticket number to show up on one of the boards on the wall.

After about 30 min, i got called to a window, the lady there requested my appointment letter and my ticket number then invited me to go back and take a seat while waiting to get called again.
After another 30 min, she called me back and this time requested all the forms, medical results and documents that I was supposed to bring for the interview. (For the a... read complete review

I guess everyone here speaks french. Sry if you don't... I wrote this review in a private message to someone and I didn't feel like writing it all over again in english...

Review Topic: General Review

I spent 1h ion total at the consulate, the first woman was very nice, she explained me about the process of my green card. She asked me if I have any recent document to had or new picture but I said no that I have exactly the same.

Then she ask me to wait for the consulate at the window 10. The consulate was a young girl mid/late 20. asking very simple question: Where did we met? how long are we married? where do my husband work? what does he do? All the questions were very simple, but the lady was quiet very suspicious because we didn't meet that often since the wedding (but unfortunately his company give him only 2 weeks holidays a year and tickets are not that cheap).
But at the end of the interview she told me congratulation. then it was finish and now I am waiting for my passport back.

My experience there was pretty good!

I arrived around 12:35 (apt at 1pm). I had to wait until around 12:45/50.
Guards were very nice and respectful.

I think I arrived around 12:55 (after security check, no phone!! Take a book or something not to be bored..), and first call was , i think, 30 minutes later.
A nice lady speaking french asked for my passport and my waiting ticket. 10 seconds later she gave it back to me and asked me to sat down and wait until i get called again. 1 hour later, same lady called me and asked for all papers except proves of relationship. She didn't ask for JAPD.
Just to say, if someone make same mistake as me : Birth certificate older than 3 months old are FINE!
She then said to wait for the consul to call me. It seems that there was only 1 consul that was dealing with K1 visa. She didn't interview any other type of visa.
After maybe 20-30 minutes later (3 K1 before me), the consul called me. Sh... read complete review
