My husband's consulate interview went well. There was no wait. They asked to see a few pictures of us together and asked to see the AOS form. The interview date was April 27th, 2016 and they wanted to see the 2015 tax form, so luckily I had rush delivered it to my husband in France (with original signature) as soon as I finished it on April 15, 2016. Glad he had it! Visa was approved, now he is just waiting to get it in the mail, its been 8 days. Hoping for its arrival soon so he can come here!

My appointment was at 1pm. They only let me in at 12:55. The security took my phone to save it in their box.The embassy was only opened in the afternoon for Us citizen, Family visa and fiance. It was only 11 of us waiting. They called me at the first window at 1:30pm to submit my interview letter and told me to sit and wait again for my number to be called.
They called me a second time at 2:30 to collect my original documents. The lady (very nice by the way) asked me for my DS260 confirmation. As soon as I gave it to her, I mentioned the mistake I made on my DS260. She told me this is the right moment to do so. She said "I can't modify it, but I can put a note to indicate the correct date". I brought a corrected form so she could see where to do the modification (instead of 2009, I had indicated 2004 on the residence question).
Then, she asked me for the certified copy of my birth certificate, certified copy of my wedding certificate and certified copy of... read complete review

Our overall Fiancé visa interview experience was really good and pleasant.
We were scheduled at 13h at the Paris embassy for our K1 interview, and arrived at 12h40. We waited outside until 1pm. We showed our passports, appointment letter and petition at a 1st checkpoint. My fiancé and I were invited to a second checkpoint where we passed security screening and left our cellphones and other items.
We then got into the consular section of the embassy and a nice young lady asked us for our type of visa. We answered fiancé and received a ticket with a number on it and we were invited to wait until our number appears on the screen of the waiting room where we sat down.
After waiting 20min, we were called a first time and went to a first counter. A lady asked us our appointment letter and ticket number. We then returned in the waiting room and sat down for another 20min until being called to a different counter. A smiling French lady asked us my passport, confirmation... read complete review
