The interview went smoothly. I spent more time waiting to be interviewed than at the interview itself. I got there at 8:20 for my appointment at 9:30. My husband came with me but they didn't allow him to come in with me. I got a number and sat there for an hour, got called to get the rest of the paperwork they requested on an email. Sat again for another maybe 30 minutes. I was very nervous cause I didn't take my X-rays. The X-rays were saved in a CD and they do not allow people to bring in CDs, USB memories and similar things. Imagine how worried I was when I saw everyone with the CD. I swore I would get a green sheet telling me to come back with the CD.
Thankfully that didn't happen 😊😊🎉🎉 in fact, I spent all night printing pictures and other information and they didn't ask for it! They didn't ask me for proof of bonafide marriage at all. I would say the interview lasted 1-2 minutes. They asked me around 6 or 8 questions.

We were initially denied but after close review with another attorney we figured out why.
1. We met by Facebook
2. We engaged soon after meeting even though we had been talking for almost a year.
3. Big age difference 20 years
All of these led to Administrative Processing. Believe me you want to avoid this black hole at all costs.
The interviewers were tough on us and I thought we failed but everything turned out ok. Just tell the truth and be yourself and it will all work out. It did for us.

The process and interview were very nicely designed and efficient. My wife said the interview took about 5 minutes once her number was called, and total time from arrival to approval was less than an hour. They asked basic questions, smiled and were very friendly, allowed both english and spanish at her preference, and genuinely seemed like caring people.

They interviewed my husband and told him that they needed to speak with me at a second interview. Nothing was said about any 221g denial, just that my presence at the second interview was "requested." They handed him a slip of paper with an email address to write to for the next appointment, which we did. The appointment was scheduled for a month out on December 14th, 2014.
