They will ask for the interview confirmation and passport. Was also told to follow the green arrows until the metal detectors. Once thru there they give you a paper with a number, so they can call you by that number. They ask to have in hand passport, solvencia de policia, partida de nacimiento, and the i134 forms with the proof of income. Once they call you up again they ask for the documents mentioned above, confirmation of visa application, the DUI, and the receipt of $265. They also at this point take your fingerprints. After that you have to wait until your number is called on for the interview. Once they call the number the officer asked

-" How long have you known your fiance",

Disclaimer: the timeline on my account is an IR2 for my stepdaughter. This review is for the IR1 for my husband. Most of the process is not helpful for VisaJourney as it required a lawyer as he had to have his administratively closed in immigration court. It was not a DIY case.
Despite the recommendation for going to the medical interview three weeks early by the Consulate direction, we had to make his appointment Monday before the interview to occur on the 25th of July. He had to do a voluntary departure and was only allowed to leave on the 18th of July. He went to his medical and got two additional vaccines (after getting MMR, Varicella, and Tdap ten days earlier in the United States), a follow up on the MMR and an influenza (even though it is not required in the summer but what can you do). They did not give him a packet but told him they would call in 24 hours if the results of the STD testing came back positive. If he didn't hear from them, he was clear and to just ... read complete review

Overall, the interview was 5 minutes and to the point questions. But come prepared.
First they didn't have my fiancé on their "list" for the day. Thankfully he brought his appointment confirmation and they still saw him.
Also, they want divorce decrees that have physical seals (like a notary press that they can physically feel). They will not accept electronically certified copies of the divorce decree. So they put us in AP for that and I (the petitioner) had to get a certified copy from the district clerk with their pressed seal on it. This delayed us a week.
After we sent that in, they sent an email requiring the police solvency report. Of course my fiancé had it at the interview, they looked at it but then gave it back. Apparently they were supposed to keep it. So we had to send that in delaying us another week.
In the end, we're done and visa in hand so extremely happy!

Hubby had his interview at 8:30 am we got there super early had a breakfast date at pollo campero. The initial line just put away your phone was long and outside. Once we got inside we had to wait for our number to called just for the initial document check, after we waited for another long period. And we the official asked my hubby a few questions about relationship and his tattoos. We got approved right away.

My husband had interview at 7:30. He was there for three hours. They only asked for documents in the letter from the embassy and they reviewed all the whatsapp chats we had dating back to 2015. He was told he was approved after seeing the extensive proof of bonafide marriage.
