Review Topic: K1 Visa

Overall process took over two hours, but most of that was just waiting. Actual interview was 5-10 minutes. Questions were very basic and the none of the evidence was looked at (somewhat disappointing considering the effort put in to prepare it, but better to be overprepared than under). Official confirmed approval and visa should be available within two weeks.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

Arrived at 6:30AM, appointment at 7AM. Outdoor line around the corner of the building in San Salvador and it started to rain. The line moved pretty quickly, and there was a special shorter line for visas for residency/K1 so it was quick. Only the applicant was allowed to enter for the interview. US fiancé was not allowed to enter. Walked out of the building by 9:30 AM. The embassy officer was respectful and spoke Spanish. Asked question about fiancés work.
