Review Topic: K1 Visa

We both attended the interview. It was scheduled for 7:30am. We arrived at the embassy about 6am. Everyone started to line up at the doors around 6:45am. Make sure you get there early since the line quickly grew very long! Once we got inside we were directed where to go. We were soon called up to a window to give our original documents (birth certificate, military record and divorce decree), and she also asked for another 5x5 cm (2x2in) photo. She asked if we were married to each other or have been married before. She asked Amro if he has ever been to the United States and asked if he could travel before December 2011 if the visa is issued. She then directed us to go pay our visa fees and get the DHL slip from the DHL counter. Then we were called to another window to fingerprint Amro. We waited for about 1.5 hours to be called up for our interview. She asked Amro if he understands everything in the forms and documents and if he swears them to be truthful. She told him to sign the DS-1... read complete review

We arrived 2 hrs before our appt and found 3 or 4 others there. we were all told to stand on other side of the street and wait so we did. after awhile more people were coming and standing directly in front of the embassy so my husband said if they are coming 2 hours after us and standing in front so are we and we walked over and the others on our side of the street followed suit. Then the guard said something in arabic to my husband and my husband told him this mess was his fault for not saying anything to some people and letting others stand there beside him, lol. How about a sign that reads those here for interview please line up in the order that you arrive(wow).

Then about 710 the guard came out and said ok form a line here and everyone was trying to win the race, rediculous that we ended up behind people who had arrived since 5 minutes. Then we were divided into a second line for immigrants. we fared better this time only behind 5 people who just arrived since 5 min... read complete review

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

It was the worse stupid place I ever seen

Went to the embassy at 8am as per the schedule and the interview started at 1:30pm

He was a man in his late forties with gray white hair very rude arrogant and disrespectful person. Greeted him he didn't answer

He asked me where I met my wife- colleague in Egypt for 3 years
Do you have kids- pregnant in her sixth month
Did you met her family- no because they didn't come to Egypt before and I didn't travel to usa before
Why you want to travel to usa??? To stay with my wife
Then he asked to see our photos so I gave him wedding, friends, families pictures more than 200 photos.
He asked me by very high self-esteem where is your wife now I told him in usa he said why I told him to arrange the house we will stay in then he said how come you know your visa will be approved so I told him because we made everything the NVC asked for and why not my visa will not be approve... read complete review

I went to the embassy at 08:00am after the security check I preceded to the visa section counter, they asked me about my visa type and they handed my double printed number. After 30 minutes my number flashed on and she was young veiled Egyptian lady she greeted me with smile and asked for my passport, birth and military service certificates and asked me some questions about my fiancee,

She gave me receipt and asked me to pay 350$ to the cashier.

After 120 minutes my number flashed for the fingerprint, she was oriental American lady she greeted me with smile and asked me to take my fingerprint scan.

After 30 minutes my number flashed for the interview he was American man in his late 40th when I proceeded to the window he was reading a papers front of him I said good morning he didn't answer!

Then he gave me a paper and asked me to sign it, it was DS-156 form so I signed it.
