My husband arrived at the embassy around 6:15am. His appointment time was for 7:30am. When he arrived, there were already several people waiting outside. After 7am, they separated them into 2 lines. Hubby soon realized he was in the wrong line LOL. But thankfully, a kind Egyptian lady in the other line knew he was there before her and let him get in front of her They let them enter at 7:30am and he went through security and made his way to the waiting area. He got number 606 meaning he was number 6 in line. He waited about 20 minutes or so for his number to be called. He went up to the window where an Egyptian woman was working. He said she wasn't friendly, but she also wasn't mean haha. She took his medical exam, passport, passport photos, and told him I did the I-864/I-864a wrong.
***Note, I did it correctly, but they don't want a household sponsor. I used my Mom as we have the same household. The girl told my husband I should have made... read complete review

Our Interview day started early in the morning, arriving at the embassy an hour early before the 7:30 a.m. time. My husband dressed so nice, and our newborn daughter and I anxiously waited for the line to start forming. Finally at about 7 they had people form two lines. One side was for non-immigrant visas, the other was for immigrants. Awhile after the lines were formed, a man came out and checked everyone's name and interview appointment letter. We found out that my daughter and I could not go inside the embassy with my husband, as they have changed the rules and only allow beneficiaries inside. This was not expected, and was a little frustrating as we had traveled a long way to be there. SO, my daughter and I found a safe place in a nearby hotel lobby and waited the long grueling FIVE hours until the interview was done.
When my husband went inside the door, he went through the security check and then was taken to a waiting area where he got a number (number 619... read complete review

Hello all my fiance arrived at about 6:50 am. He was the first person in line but walked away for a moment and became the second one in line. The interview was at 7:30. At about that time they let him into the embassy. He was given a number and to to pay the $240 and then the dhl fee. He was given a number and told to wait. His number was called and he went to the first window. He had all of his documents pictures, and evidence in folders. He met a lady and she asked are you married? He replied no fiance she said oh okay have a seat and they will call your number. He was called few minutes later. He went to the window and spoke to an american man.He said good morning and then he asked how many times had his fiancee come to visit him? He answered. He asked what does your fiance's mother do for her profession? He answered. Then he said you are approved expect your passport via dhl in 3 weeks or less. He was shocked and was not able to shoe even one photo or paper. They returned his I-134 pap... read complete review

Joseph's interview was scheduled on 11/01/2012 @ 7:30am, he arrived to the US Embassy at 6:13am. He got in a single line until security came out and seperated Non-Immigration from Immigration. When he arrived he was the 20th person there. When they seperated the line he was the 3rd person inline for Immigration. At 7:07am they asked them to prepare there Interview Letter to be shown at the door for entry. He entered the Embassy at 7:10am. He told me that he went through to security and they checked him for anything forbidden. He turned in his cell phone because electronic devices are not allowed. After passing through security he was told to make 2 lefts around the building. He was given a number (603). He was called with-in 25 minutes of waiting. The Egyptain lady asked him to speak in Arabic and she asked him for his Passport, Passport Photo's, Medical Exam, and Interview Letter. She them reviewed them and asked him: "How did we meet each other"? She never offered to give him the ori... read complete review
