Best day ever was 2013-11-18 because my fiance was approved! The moment he got out of the embassy he called me and told me. "Can't believe this..." he said. When he told me that I thought he was rejected but then he continued "...I got it." I started jumping around my room liked a hyper active 12 year old! javascript:emoticon(' ') He told me all about it. He arrived at the embassy 30 mins early to be checked in then waited in the lobby. Then they called out his name. He sat across from the immigration officer and started speaking in English. Thankfully there was a translator available. He asked him all these questions (What's your name? Who is your fiance? How did you two meet? etc.) all the meanwhile he was writing things down. My fiance answered every question but was doubting himself because of the officer writing. After finishing everything he asked him whether or not he had been rejected. javascript:emoticon('') sooooo my fiance had his interview said everything went really well. he took lots of supporting evidence however they did not ask him for anything. The told him to take his TB test again and submit it and he would have his visa soon after. It took 1week from the date to get his medical results. 2days later he was approved and had his visa sent to him via DHL. javascript:emoticon(' ') Thank you visa journey for all your help and support!!! everyone please hang in there... there is light to the end of the tunnel!!!

Never lose hope and keep it up to the sky, El hamdullah i received my visa today 12-5-2013,i had my interview at 11-10-2013, kept my passport no 221g " EL hamdullah " and he said everything looks fine but it need further work and once it's done we will send you through the mail, when i went home and checked on CEAC it changed to AP at the interview date, then i felt so frustrated because of the AP nightmare, after 2 weeks of AP i sent an email to the embassy asking about my case and they told me it's at Mandatory processing, then i felt that I'm in long AP, and decided to leave it to ALLAH and will not check again on CEAC, on December 1.. there is something pushed me to open the CEAC website and when i wrote down my case number and waiting for the popup window to come and see the big Administrative processing with light blue color i found it " ISSUED " care creation date changed to December one i though i may entered a wrong case number and i did it again and again and again .. and el ... read complete review

I went to the interview on Nov 12 at 7:30 , i was asked to swear if it was me who filled in all documents i sent out to the embassy back n If every info was right then being asked when the first time we met n in which chat room n what it was that chat room mainly for n times of my fiancee visits n her work as well as my work n then been asked if I had ever traveled out of Egypt n for how long , then the vice consul asked me for a new TB n told me that my file looked good n gave me the passport and asked me to mail it off with the new TB .It was a nice experience (( Take ur original birth certificate,Military service,Divorce decree,both in arabic and English )) as i been asked to be seen .BE confident of ur answers, smile always, n say thank you after all ) Happy to be soon with my other half , good luck for all

Concerning AP and communications:
Since April we have received the same reply more or less to our question even if the question we asked was not about AP. Our state Senator contacted them in May, and still nothing but the standard AP answer. CEAC website updates status about once a month with new date same message.
In October we contact the embassy several times. We receive answers to the questions appropriately instead of the standard AP message.
In November we request information on having the passport returned. My husband is leaving Egypt for Europe for a month leaving mid December. After the official email request was sent the Consulate sent out passport via DHL immediately. We had the passport in a matter of days although DHL was already attempting delivery before the consulate told us the request was granted. :S
The passport had a sticky note on it saying "need new TB test and police report". Nothing else was included... read complete review
