My husband was also scheduled on March 27, 2016. Our case was completed October 15,2015. I didn't receive any email I had to call myself. Good luck to both of them

Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa

We arrived at the embassy around 6:30AM (for a 7:30 appointment) and a man corralled everybody into an area across the street from the embassy. Nobody formed lines and everybody stood around waiting. If this is a regular occurrence, I advise not arriving before 6:50 or so because there is no point in arriving earlier if no lines are formed to save your place. We were the third family in line.

A little later than 7:30, the guards asked to see papers (interview appointment and document delivery) and pictures. The first family didn't have their Aramex paper and were forced out of line. The second family didn't have the right size pictures and were sent awa... read complete review

Review Topic: K1 Visa

The interviewer was a nice young lady. She asked me to raise my right hand and swear to tell the truth, and then she asked 4 questions:

1) How did we meet?

2) What are my plans when I get to the US?

3) Who attended the engagement?

4) Tell me more about your engagement

It took about 15 minutes in total. However, I had to wait 5 hours in the waiting room until it was my turn, since they finish all the non-immigrant visas first.
