No transparency. I was put on administrative processing for F1 visa application. I was told that it will take 1-2 months. I have been waiting for 2 and a half months so far.

So, here's my review of my husband's interview. I, the petitioner, attended with him as I have been living in Egypt with him since February 1, 2015.
We arrived at the embassy on June 20 at approximately 6:50 am. Tons of people were already there, waiting across the street from the embassy. Around 7:10, they let us move to outside the embassy, in two lines, one for non-immigrant visas and immigrant visas. I read a tip in one of the reviews to RUN across the street to the lines. I would strongly suggest this. However, even if you are first in line like we were (I told my husband to dash and I'd catch up, lol), be prepared to wait a long time. They went through all of the non-immigrant visa line before us and then even selected a few people from our line to check their information first, even though they were behind us in line.

i cant say much or repeat the same here cuz what happened with me was like everybody before .. and i mean it nothing different , its seems like mechanic system over there ,, everything will go so smooth if u already follow the comments here in VJ .by the way they dont asked me for any paper . but my advice will be back to my experience ,
first of all i notice that the decision was already token before the interview but the interview just to be sure of 2 main things first if u are the real same person and they want know if what in the paper is such true and second is to complete your file if they still need something other offices is missed or uncompleted .. if you pass those tow things u will be approved anyway, so be sure u have all ur paper and proves even if you sent it before just in case ,, required in your paper or not but u think it will help u but don't show nothing unless u asked for and say the true whatever what and if u dont know the answer say i dont know avoid lie... read complete review

The affidavit of of marital status_قيد عائلى او فردى- is NOT required at any of your immigration processes stages.
unless they request one (Always remember thats every case is different and never take advice or listen to any one exept the officil sources or your lawyer because wrong advice can harm your case.
Gather & Bring All Required Documents
The applicant is responsible to bring all required original civil documents, and photocopies of the original civil documents, to the visa interview. Failure to bring all required original documents and the photocopies to the interview may cause delay or denial of the visa. The following documents must be available at the interview:
Appointment Letter received from the NVC
Passport(s) valid for six months beyond the intended date of entry into the United States
