We both arrived to the embassy at 6:30am by that time there was already ALOT People waiting... By 7:00am they lined up my fiance was the first in line , they asked for Aramex Paper passport pics, passport, then inside they asked for original documents + fingerprints... His interview was at window 15... White male he didn't asked us much just like 4 questions where we met, where i live in US, how we met on facebook, and where does he currently live in Egypt... Then the consular said congratulations your visa is approved. Everything was easier than expected

Hi everyone,

I would thank everyone who wrote reviews here, and I encourage others who finished the interview to write their review also, it can help people a lot. Every case is kinda unique (like mine) which can help others.

My interview was on October 24 2016, I arrived in the morning at around 6:45, I advice not to arrive any earlier, no point for that, you will just be waiting till they allow people to get in front of the embassy at around 7:15. They ask people to form 2 queues, one for immigration and other for non immigration. The one with immigration is the one on the left (so get ready to go there fast and get position in the front ).

I was the third in the queue. After about 15 min a guy came telling us that only immigration applicant on this queue and what is allowed and not allowed inside the embassy. I recommend that you bring only your keys and your mobile. No any additional devices or tools. (Chargers, Power B... read complete review

My habibi was the first in the line to go inside the Embassy. He had the Consular from window 15 that everyone knows about. His interview once in front of the Consular was about 10 minutes. He was smiling & friendly with the Conular and they laughed together a couple of times
He was asked alot of questions like:
When did we meet
About my divorce and how long I was previously married
About us getting engaged after my divorce
How does his familyl feel about me being 10 years older
My job & where I work and his job & what is he studying in college
When do we talk, what do we use to talk (fb messenger/viber) every day before work, after work & weekends.
What do I do in my free time when Im not working or talking to him
What doesnt he like about me & what does he love about me.

Then he was told Approved & Mabrook! Was handed a white paper that says Congrats and you will receive your visa in 2 weeks throug... read complete review

Hello fellow visa applicants. Thanks for all the advice I've received through this site. The input from other members makes the long wait bearable and gives confirmations of confusing information. We are united once again me and my wife. The interview was in 23rd June 2016. Here is how she described her experience going through the interview. I'm sorry the review is not going to be comprehensive since i already forgot most of the details about what she described or the requirements.
There were a lot of people lined up in front of the embassy in the morning, the guards asked for specific documents while the people waited in line, she had two photos but the guard noticed that they weren't recently taken so she was directed to go to a nearby studio where she can obtain new ones. First official she met inside asked for the important documents that were listed in the NVC letter. My wife had most of the documents except for her ORIGINAL birth certificate but the lady said its OK, you ... read complete review

Overall i would say it was very easy.
waiting time can be a bit stressing for obvious reasons. but the whole procedure is pretty straight forward.
if you have a good case , confident , you will have the chance to present your case.
