My interview was conducted on December 20th, 2016 at 10:00 am in Cairo, Egypt. The process was very easy and simple. When I arrived, I waited for about 30 minutes until my named was called. I walked up to a window and spoke with the consular. He was a white male, young, and looked about 29 years old. He spoke with me in Arabic. He was very pleasant and welcoming. He smiled and spoke to me with respect. He only asked me four questions. He asked me where my fiance (now wife) lives, where she works, and what religion she is. He asked me how her and I met and what are marriage plans are. I handed him all of my required paperwork. He took a minute to look over everything and then approved me for my visa. He congratulated me, shook my hand and concluded the interview. It really was that easy. I went home after the interview and it took about two weeks for my approved visa to arrive to me. One week after receiving my visa, I flew to the U.S. to be with my beautiful wife.

Our appointment time was 7:30 am.
We arrived to the embassy at 6:15 am (they would not allow us to stand in front of the embassy until 7:00 am, they had us line up outside at 7:15 am; one line for immigrant and one line for non-.immigrant.
We had to rush from across the street to get in line. We were the 4th in line.
We waited about 15 minuets and then an embassy employee came over and asked everyone to get out their Aramex Confirmation page, Appointment Letter, 2 Passport Pictures, and Passport. He also told everyone if they have any electronic devices other than a mobile or sharp objects, that they would have to leave them across the street at the store and they would hold it until you pick it back up (they do charge you for this). mobiles were to be turned off prior to entering the embassy.
He looked at Ahmed's information and then asked for his mobile # and wrote his # onto the Aramex confirmation page.

I believe we are jumping ahead too soon in this process. The fee was paid and we scheduled an interview for June 12, 2017. We have not received the NOA 2 and/or the packet of paperwork to bring to the interview, nor has any appointment been scheduled for the physical from a doctor. would you agree that this interview needs to be canceled for now until those items have been received?
