We had our interview today. I say we because I came to Egypt to be part of it with my fiancé. There was a woman outside who checked to make sure each person had their copy of their appointment verification that states that Aramex was paid or something. They want to make sure you sent packet 3 by Aramex and you paid your appointment fee before they let you in. Then you go in and give them your cell phone, lighter or any prohibited item. We went in got a number and got called to see the one lady after 20 minutes. She took his passport, divorce paper, original military paperwork, two 2’ by 2’ photos and birth certificate. My interview was on 16th of November, in Cairo consulate, I was very well prepared, I spent 2 months collecting every single document that could support my case, however I'll mention the ones they asked for only, my interview was at 7:30 am, I was there 7:00 am (I have been the last one in the immigrant queue). The security officer asked us to prepare our passports, one personal pic and aramex confirmation letter. Regarding the picture please make sure that you satisfied all the requirements mentioned in the website as they will not let you in unless it's right (most of the people before me was sent to photoshop to take a correct photo).
Also Aramex confirmation should be the one with the barcode.
After the officer checked the papers, they let us in one by one. then I had to leave my bag, accessories and belt to pass the security gate, the alarm beeped so they asked me to take off my shoes as well and retry, then they ... read complete review
