My fiancé got there about 20 minutes prior to the consulate opening at 8AM for his 8AM interview. He said he was seen right away and was there for about 1 hour with a majority of the time spent waiting. Interview was very casual and they only asked a couple questions. The representative did question him about his birth certificate, an original, as I guess they didn't like the colored cardstock the government printed it on and apparently appeared to be a copy. He was approved right away and was told he would receive his passport with visa back in a week or so and it came back exactly after one week.

They asked for a few of the required documents mentioned in the instructions, then later asked me about 6 typical questions, then let me go like it wasn't a big deal; I had to ask whether this actually meant it was approved.

Very good experience. They obviously didn't have many cases due to COVID, so only me and one other were in the waiting room before the interview.
Had appointment at 09:30, was let in 09:20. The lady called to collect my documents 10:00. She was very nice and asked for:
* My birth certificate
* My marriage license
* My police certificate
* Joint sponsor's AOS and tax return
* Sponsor's AOS
* Evidence of relationship
She also thanked me for having such a well-documented and organized case.
10:15 my name was called over the speaker to come to window 5, where a very nice, young lady conducted the interview. She askes the following questions:
* where did you meet?
* describe your wedding to me
* what does your wife do?
* what do you do?
* do you have a place to stay in the US?
* what’s your relation to the joint sponsor?

After 25 minutes I was called to the Counter for my interview.

I was the first one to get in the embassy for the interview. As soon as I got there I presented my documents to an officer who checked them. For my surprise, I missed two translated documents. Then, I was told to send it through mail to the embassy's address. This was the first step and I was told to wait to be called by a second officer who would conduce my interview. I had to wait for around 20 to 40 minutes until the interviewer called me. The interview itself was very simple. I was asked some general questions, such as "how did you meet your ficancee?", "how long are you together?", "with how frequency do you meet your fiancee?", "what is her name and profession?". It took me not more than 10 minutes to get done and receive the parcial approval (with the condition of sending the missed documents to the embassy). Left my passport there and headed to Denmark. On the same day, I sent the documents through mail to the embassy. They received it on the next second business day and the st... read complete review
