Appointment at 2 PM. Got inside, printed out my number, sat down, was called over. Gave a nice czech lady all the required paperwork. Sat down again, waited about 30-40 minutes. Consulate called my name, took fingerprints, asked me about the relationship. Told me my visa is approved and I will be able to pick it up by the end of the week. He was very nice and kind. Interview: 5/24, visa was ready to pick up 5/27

I spent no more than 45 minutes there. The interview was probably about 5-10 long. I was expecting questions about me and my fiance, but I wasn't really asked any. The consul asked about my previous J1 visa and if that's how I met my fiance, if me or my fiance were married before and if we have kids (both questions were no). And that was about it. She told me I can come to pick up my visa the next day or any day after that. Everyone was very nice and there was just one more person at the ambassy by the time of my interview.

My fiancé is from Serbia, but the consulate in Belgrade closed due to Covid, so we reached out to the embassy in Prague to see if they'd be willing to accept our case as a transfer. Since we were plaintiffs in the Milligan v Pompeii case, they said they'd be happy to accept our case. They were great about communicating what we needed for the physical and the interview and we set off for Prague within a few weeks. The people at the embassy were so incredibly kind and happy to approve our case. They said the visa would take 3-5 days to print, but it was done within 24 hours. The process could not have gone smoother. Would definitely recommend the embassy in Prague!

Super easy, the people there are nice and helpful. Spend there about 1,5 hours, mostly just waiting. They asked basic questions about our relationship. The interview itself took 5ish minutes. Pleasant experience after all the waiting.

Husband said they were very nice, asked questions about our relationship and reviewed our financial documents!
