All of the staff were very professional and courteous. The document review was first and that went very quickly with no questions. The interview was second and was relaxed and fairly quick with the questions centering on how we met and how many trips I had to Costa Rica during our relationship. From start to finish, the process took just under an hour.

Whole process took 1 hour. First window you hand in requested documents, make sure you have original certified documents of birth certificate, marriage certificate, and correct police report for international use. All documents need to be accompanied by English translations.
Interview was quick, basic questions:
How did you meet?
How long after you met did you start dating?
When did you get married?
Where are you going to live in the USA?

Simple questions were asked... very easy just make sure you have your paperwork organized and if you have your old passports by any chance bring them but if not it's ok it will not affect results just make sure you bring current passport lol just have documentation ready!

My K1 Visa was approved on Feb 13. 🎉
My appointment was at 1:30 p.m. The whole process took 2 hours, first documentation review (including questions to validate DS-160) and some paperwork signature, then oath and finally a friendly interview (it was in Spanish).
Interview questions:
When was the last time I see my fiance?
Does your Fiance have children?
Where does your fiance work?
Where will you live?
The Embassy staff is very kind and professional.
