Interview was scheduled for 8:00 AM. We arrived at 7:15, Jessy was let in quickly and sent to the front of all the lines. Interview was quick and friendly, and she was approved and back outside by 7:33. Visa status on ceac.state.gov showed "Issued" by 10:30, and we received an email with the DHL tracking number for her passport around 3:45 PM.

The interview was smooth. The embassy set up a separate appointment three weeks before the interview to deliver civil and financial documents. For the actual interview, we showed up 15 minutes beforehand, and they only allowed my spouse (beneficiary) to enter the embassy. The questions were straightforward and focused on the relationship. The consular officer asked questions about when and where we met, our wedding date, children, if we had been married before, and where my parents live. The officer flipped through about half of the photos, asked a few questions about what she saw in the photos (e.g., what is the name of our dog, where was one of the photos taken). She didn't want to see any of the other supporting docs apart from the photos. There were about 15 questions in total. She said the visa was approved and that it would be sent through Correos within two weeks, maybe less.

We waited quite a long time but the interview itself was super quick! I went up with my husband but they seemed to direct the questions to my husband. We went up to two different counters. The first was to check his passport and international background check. I brought literally every single piece of evidence with us and they didn't ask to see any of it. When we went up to the counter for the interview, they asked how long we had been dating and checked to see that my husband knew where we were going to move. They told us right there that we were approved!
