It was the perfect day in Bogota..the embassy was basically empty, and the sun was shining! All in all, the whole process from start to finish took about 3 hours, I think that is a record...or close to it lol. We arrived at the embassy around 5:45 because the taxi was going soooo fast. She was called up to the window to submit her documents about 30 minutes after we were let into the embassy. The petitioner is not allowed to accompany the beneficiary at this step..so just save your time and save your seats lol. This interview was actually longer than the final interview because she had to review the documents and asked her a couple basic questions. Next, she got her fingerprints and about 15 minutes later, we were called up to the window. The woman who interviewed us was sooo nice, and I had a feeling we were already approved the minute we talked to her. She asked if my wife spoke English and she said she did so she then proceeded to do the interview all in English lol...my wife did gr... read complete review

First, We have to thank God for his unfailing faitfulness towards us. Amen!!!.. So.... My wife and arrived at the embassy on Feb. 22nd at 0615. We were instructed by speaker phone to wait in line 3 along with the other visa applicants. While we were waiting in line 3 outside of the gates of the embassy a young lady asked to see everybodys visa appointment letter, passport, and visa photo. After she verified those documents she gave my wife and I a green sticker to wear on our shirts. We then proceded through security to wait in a line to receive a folder with instructions on how to organize all of the documetns. Once we organized all of our documents we presented our folder to a young lady for her the check that we had all of the required documents. Afterwards we waited for about 45 mins and we were called to a window for another woman to verify our documetns and to ask a couple of question in regards to our relationship. ( I dont remember exactly what questions but nothing major.9 Aft... read complete review

We arrived at the embassy at 5:30. We were first in line. I had hoped to be first so that we didn’t spend the whole day sitting. It was cold and raining. Make sure you are prepared. Go directly to line #3.
We were let into the embassy about 6:45. We waited in a line to receive the folders to put our documents in. We went back to submit our folders about 7:30. Now the waiting begins.
We saw many people that were behind us in line getting called up before us, so we began to wonder what was going on. Being first made no difference at all. Everything was very random.
Finally Jenny was called at 10:30. I purposely went with her to the window although I knew I would be told to sit down. I wanted to make sure they saw I was there with her.
Still not sure why, but they claimed something was wrong with her passport picture. We had submitted many of the exact same pictures throughout the whole process. Jenny left the embassy to one of the many passport picture b... read complete review
