Everything went smooth for the interview to get the K-1 visa. Our appointment was at 0730 and we went to line #3 where there was only a few people. Went through security where they make you remove you jacket, belt, cell phones, etc. They give you a list of documents and the order they need to be in, we had everything in order, thanks to all the information here at visajourney. We were directed to windows 3 and 4 where they were doing the initial interview and collecting forms, i wasn t allowed to stay with my fiance, they sent me back to the cafe iguana. My fiance was there for maybe 5 min and she was done. Then we went to Crepes and Waffles to grab a bite, maybe 15 minutes then we went to sit down and wait by cafe iguana and a few minutes later we heard my fiances name to window 2. We both went up and they started the interview, the same standard questions you see posted right here. It only lasted a few minutes they they said you are approved welcome to the usa! We were so happy an... read complete review

Interview was on Friday, September 13. Everything went incredibly well. My fiancée said she was called promptly for her appointment. She was only asked a few questions about our relationship. The officer never asked for any evidence such as photographs, boarding passes, passport stamps or any other relevant evidence which she had. The officer only asked for the required documentation and then approved the visa.

After the embassy got our packet from nvc they emailed the beneficiary packets 3 and 4. After paying the $240 visa fee she made an appointnent online. There were many options from ten days out to over a month. We set it for a month out and worked on finalizing our paperwork. She called doctor Dennis the next day and set an appointment for two days before the k1 interview. The medical is split into two parts. First a blood and x ray taken at a clinic that is only open m-f 7-10am. We got there are 630 and there was already a line. Get there early! The second appointment was with the doctor in the afternoon. He went over basic medical questions. At te doctors office they have us an extra copy of the immunization sheet and X-ray. She would recommend the doctor. Although his office was hard to find as its in a medical center that is large. Again get there early.
She had a 730 am interview. We arrived at 7 and proceeded to gate three outside the embassy. It had no line compar... read complete review
