Review Topic: K1 Visa

The interview was very smooth. Our appointment was at 7:30. We got to the embassy around 6:30. At 6:45, they started calling people and we had to wait in line number 3. They organized our papers and then we went to the security checkpoint. We got to a window where they verified all the documents. Then we waited around 45 minutes to be called for the interview. The consular officer was very nice and polite.
He asked me
1) Who is petitioning you?
2) How did you guys meet?
Then he wanted to talk to my fiancé and asked
1) Where do you work?
2) What do you do there?
After 5 minutes of reviewing paperwork he smiled and said: "congratulations, your visa has been approved, you should get your passport back in 1-2 weeks".
The whole staff at the embassy was extremely nice and helpful. This was for sure the nicest part of this process.

Si he ido a los Estado... read complete review

Full review from Blood tests to Interview Date.
- 6 days in Bogota in which it took me 4 business days to do it all -

Instituto y Laboratorio Clínico
-Showed up at 06:30 and I was the 7th in line. At 07:00 they opened the door and upon entry I was required to give my passport and a copy of it. Once inside i sat down and eventually I’ve been called to reception to pay $420.000 (CASH ONLY) and give a passport size photo (5x5).
After that I’ve been sent to see a lady and she gave me a cup to pee in, came back with it gave it to the lady, made me sit down and took blood tests. After that she sent me back to the room where everyone was waiting and another lady called me in a different room. Performed X-Rays and gave me my passport back and told me that was it. I was inside the clinic for about 20 minutes.
