Had our immigration visa interview on April 1st, 2019.
Overall the experience was very fast. They asked general questions about my job title and my wife about our marriage.
The interviewer was professional but a little rude.
Arrived at 8 am and didn’t leave until 3pm. There were a LOT of people... especially for tourist visas.
We were approved! And the visa was ready to be picked up at the biometric center the next day. (Though you need to make an appointment ahead of time.

My Venezuelan fiancee had her case transferred from Caracas to Bogota due to the evacuation of the US Embassy in Caracas. We were happy to find out that her appointment could be scheduled only 12 days after her case was received in Bogota! On the day of her interview she arrived early and as others have stated, passed through several stations where her documents were checked, put in a certain order, and rechecked again. He seemed to be focused on the fact that I (US Citizen) was divorced before and read over my notarized divorce several times. My fiancee had lots of evidence of a bona fide relationship, but he did not ask to see any of it other than what was in the I-129F package. At the conclusion, he told her, "I'm sorry but I can't tell you now whether you are approved. Your pa... read complete review

Arrived Early but was allowed to enter the building just before our scheduled time. We stopped at the first window for about 8 minutes to sort out paperwork and collect a file number and other paperwork to be presented at the next window. We then moved to a waiting section which was aside from the General Visa line. We spent somewhere between 30-40 minutes waiting to be called up. We both approached the window and pushed through our paperwork. The agent spent about 5-10 minutes filing in data and confirming with my wife some of the information on our forms. Most of the questions were confirming information that was already on the forms and there were a few questions about how we met, our wedding plans and if she has ever been to the states before. He also had a question for me about my income information but it was to only confirm what was already written in the application. All in all it was about 20 minutes total and we walked away happily with our approval document. We had... read complete review
