We arrived at 630am .Got into line #3.We where instructed to go to an area where we waited for our name to be called then given a folder to line up documents they wanted to see. Then called to window for review of these.Told to go to another area where they finger printed. Then wait in same area for the interview it was fast three simple questions ask me took one minute. Was thanked for coming as everything is in order and Visa approved she said its makes her job alot easier for coming to Bogota.Oh she asked for edvince look at photo's very quick 30 seconds i figured. Then told us to go to pay for Visa delivery or pick it up there at the location. We paid the 25,000 and picked it up in three busniess days .. We left the Embassy at 12:30pm ..

We arrived to the embassy around 6:30am and stood in line 3. The temperature was a little cool in the morning, but remember I'm from Duluth, MN, so I can stand alot of cold weather before I'm bothered too much. We were lead into the embassy, through security, who does take your iPod and if your phone has a camera, that too. That initial part was a little mechanical, like cattle being lead into the pasture. But, no one was especially rude to us, just indifferent and mechanical.
Once inside, we sat along the southern most wall on a very cold stone bench. It sucks your heat out your butt. There is no order there, and don't worry about getting ahead there...doesn't matter. You move slowly toward the west end of the area where they take your name and give you a folder to put all your paperwork. That took about an hour to get the folder. After that we got some cappuccinos and cheese bread thingies. Don't recommend those. We then sat near the west bank of windows, close to the ... read complete review

Arrived at the embassy at 6:40. Was directed to line 3 given a green sticker with 40 on it. Inside the gate by 7 am and went to a podium set up with the number 40. They have you take a seat and within 20 min or so made our way through the line to recieve the green folder with directions. Since the NVC had already collected the majority of the papers there were only 3 items the passport, medical paperwork and 2 photos. At 10 AM was called to one of five windows where all documents were reviewed and quite a few given back to us ie; sent 3 yrs of tax returns they kept the last and returned the rest. The lady was not pleasent however neither am I so it well. She asked a couple of questions of my wife..my phone number, why was I so serious looking and if she knew I had been married before. Afterwards we were directed to windows 1 through 5. Waited until 2pm for the interview. Lady asked my wife 3 or 4 questions asked for proof of relationship which we had plenty of but a quick look... read complete review
