(Heard second hand from Vivian)
2 hour wait and 2 minute interview. Vivian told me they glanced at her pics but did not ask for anything else.
Couple of questions about how we met and how many times. I have been there more than 10 times and she was to USA 3 times. The interviewer seemed confused and probably thought I lived there based on questions. Vivian had to remind the interviewer that I lived in USA.
Anyway, accepted.

They put our case into Administrative Review because they wanted a résumé for some odd reason. I don't see why it's pertinent, but we provided it and the case was approved. I understand that the interviewing agent can't tell you much, but his attitude could have been better.

Wow, worry, worry, worry, for nothing. We had everything, skype records, email, phone, financial, many photos over the entire period of our relationship. I wrote a letter for myself, and sent it as a supporting document. We have been sweating this for almost a year, and when she went in, it was so straight forward, and the man was very good, it went very easily. I think that they look very heavily at how many times you have come to China, and wether or not you are at the interview with your fiance, and then compare it to the photos. The man didn't even look at anything but the financial documents. I was very worried about her English, but with out even asking, he conducted the interview in Chinese, and asked just the basic questions, what is your fiances name, how did you meet, and a couple other easy ones. Like I said, I really think that they go by intuition, and how many times you go to China. We are so happy, and are looking forward to being together forever. The only thing that I ... read complete review

The Guangzhou Interview Experience
Every Monday from 1:30pm to 3:00pm US citizens can go to the consulate to ask questions. I would highly recommend this. I went. You'll need your passport and can bring your questions and documentation (if you want). There were about 40 people there to wanting to ask questions. We lined up out in front of the bldg. About 1:45p we were allowed upstairs to the 5th floor. Then we went thru the security check. They'll direct you to the waiting area. We lined up in front of one of the windows and waited for about 15 minutes. There was only 1 window to ask your questions. The guy basically triages the questions so you have about 1-2 minutes with him. He'll only answer fairly simple questions. If you have more questions or need more detail (I had more questions), he'll give you a number and a form to fill out. You go, sit & wait. After about 45 minutes, more windows were opened and staffed (about 10). They call you up. I went to ask my quest... read complete review

I wasn't actually at the interview, but my SO told me that she was there at 6:30AM and was out by 10AM. The VO only asked a few questions such as: my name, my job, my birthday, when did we meet. She said the interview was very easy and they gave her the approval slip!
