It's not as hard as I thought and only took about 5 minutes. The visa officer seems very interested in future life plan.

Overall, a very good experience. She was almost the last one to be interviewed. VO asked only a few questions, like his kids and her kid. VO didn't ask to see any other document/material she had brought with her. After the interview, it was after 11 am.

DCF Guangzhou Experience
Monday March 11, 2013
Appt time:12:30
Arrived for the line around 11:15, already over 100 people in line, there were 2 or more lines, as mentioned in prior posts, we had to ask which one was immigration, but found the correct one.

Document hand in was relatively easy, the girl at the counter didn’t really ask for the documents because my husband just kept handing her one document after the other. She did however ask my husband questions about the documents such as, oh I see you have a co-signer and the wife, what is her name (he answered), where did you meet your w... read complete review

The process seemed to be a bit overwhelming when we first started doing research. It actually ended up being fast and fairly easy once we got started. We did have one hiccup and had the I-130 returned because I missed a couple "N/A" or "none" entries on the form. Even with this minor setback, the whole DCF process only took 3 months.
My suggestion for anyone planning to DCF is to be prepared. Have all of your documents ready and in an easy to find order. I saw one I-130 application ahead of me turned away (and he had traveled pretty far) simply because he didn't have passport PICTURES needed for the forms.
