Very easy process. Only about 5-7 easy questions and visa was approved.

Questions were a little unconventional I would say, but I think it was because of our history (we met 4 years ago in China while I was teaching and she was a student at the university)
1. When and where did you first meet? (English corner at my university)
2. So he was a student too? (no)
3. So he was your teacher? (no, I was a finance major, we met at English corner)
4. So how did you two get each others phone numbers? (He asked me to be his Chinese teacher)
5. Tell me what you did on your first date (restaurant and movie)
6. What movie did you watch? (she couldn't remember so she just said some Chinese movie)
7. So how often do you see your fiance? (He has lived in China for over 4 years, we have dated for over 3 years, and we lived together for 2 years. He just went home last month)
8. Are you a party member? (no)
Interview was done in English
She passed, BUT, she got white/green slipped (not bl... read complete review

Fiance was at the embassy an hour early. Interview was on time. First Chinese lady was unpleasant and impatient. She actually worried my fiance and made her feel as though she was going to fail but my fiance kept smiling. The 2nd lady was a younger American that made her feel comfortable, smiled a lot, initially spoke great Chinese but my fiance asked her to speak English. lol They only asked for 3 documents, didn't want anything else. They only asked her 4-5 questions and one was a repeat. The curious thing is that they had my fiance write/sign both her name and my own on a blank sheet of paper. Near the end, my fiance asked the American if she passed and the American told her yes and smiled. Entire process took maybe 40 minutes from start to finish. Now we are waiting on her passport/visa to ship to the pick up location.

Lili's appointment was scheduled at 8:30am. Her process went very smoothly and she was out by 9:30 or so.
There were two steps one to turn in the documents and then the interview.
The questions she was asked were:
1. How did u meet your fiance?
2. When did you meet?
3. What does your fiance do for a living?
4. Have u ever been to u.s?
5. Does your fiance has any kids?
6. Are u a communist?
7. Describe your fiance's personality.
I'm still laughing about the last question. When the guy ask about my personality she went on to tell some stories... They interviewer said something like..."you can stop now, you're approved." he he.
Overall a decent experience.

The interview went far smoother than expected. Although they were late to allow everyone in, my fiancee was out in about an hour. The officer barely even asked for any evidence. After a few short questions about our meeting and her previous trip to the states, we were approved.
