Arrived at Consulate at 7:15 for 7:45 appointment. Very efficiently processed. Consulate Officer very polite and questions very basic and straight forward related to relationship and future plans. Was finished and back at the hotel by 8:45 (stayed at the Ascott IFC Hotel directly across the street). I wore a nice button shirt, dark jeans and comfortable shoes. Guangzhou Consular processing has to be the best there is.

Review Topic: K1 Visa

I have to say that I have been pleasantly surprised at how quickly and efficiently the State Dept has dealt with our case. She followed the instructions on the UStraveldocs web site and paid for her visa but when it gave her a receipt, the amount was wrong. My fiancé is a very sharp lady so I believe her when she says she did it correctly. It looked pretty straight forward, cut and paste the number in the box. Anyway, UStraveldocs will not refund or transfer the money so it cost ... read complete review

The actual interview was really short, 3-5 minutes. The wait for the interview was really long. The interview was scheduled at 9.40am and my mom went into the building at 9.10am and did not come out until 11.40am.
