Hello, thanks again to our "family" for making this possible. We got the "PINK", I wish I had a magical solution to relieve the stress, but after all the preparation, and waiting I think it is impossible not to worry about the unexpected. We got in line about 7am, at 7:15 they asked all the US citizens to leave the line. I am not sure if I could have gotten to the 4th floor or how, I failed to prepare for this part, Yizhen had my passport, so I waited outside.

Interview went normally until VO asked her age. He was clearly surprised at our age difference and scruitinized the application very closely after that. We had all our bases covered though and he passed us in the end. The interview lasted about 20 min.

He then began asking my fiancee about my tax returns. Did she know that I made considerably more money the previous two years than last year? Could she explain why? I believe he was only testing her more than anything else. She correctly answered that I had quit my job and was not working which is why I had made less money.
My fiancee had printed out all our email communication and selected 20 for the interviewer to read. She attached a list with a brief description of what each email contained. She also had pictures of the two us together and with her family, letters and email to her from my family, and cards and letters with postmarks. He took the 20 emails that she ... read complete review

Everything went very well considering that we worked so hard to comply to everything that was required of us.
