Straightforward process. There's two windows you queue for, the first one is getting your documents reviewed, the second is the interview with the consular officer. The first window person brought up a concern about our financial docs (we had a household member as supporting income) but wasn't brought up at all by the consular officer. The interview was simple, mainly focused on how we met, looked through the evidence we brought, if the petitioner had visited the beneficiary abroad. Approval on the spot.

That is, we went through the checklist of everything beforehand, and made sure we had everything, and yet we were still referred for administrative processing. Two things they asked for: ALL my passport pages (not specified in the checklist anywhere), and more photos of us (we brought 4 new ones to the interview, I guess they don't check against or use the USCIS package?). The 3 forms they gave afterwards were a bit confusing.
Basically, step 1 is make sure your delivery method on ustraveldocs is the way you want it (probably you want it mailed since you weren't immediately approved, just double check that), step 2 DOES NOT APPLY, and step 3 you have to dig through some pages online to find the instructions for how to submit the docum... read complete review
