Fast and easy if you know what to do from this site. Interview was straightforward, didn't even ask to see more photos or updated letter of intent. Five minute interview and then done!

Interview was scheduled for March 19th at 10 a.m.

Got to the consulate at 9:30 a.m. and the entrance is sort of hidden along the side of a building. I was expecting a big U.S. flag but there wasn't any. There was a line up there with visa appointment times so we stood in the 10 a.m. line since there was no security guard outside yet. When she came out she asked if anyone was there for K visas and she fast tracked us.

First security checkpoint they looked at the interview date letter, looked through the accordian folder and then was told to go upstairs. One flight of stairs and there was another security guard who looked at the letter (initialed by the first checkpoint), let us in the elevator and used her security to get us to the 20th floor.

At the 20th floor there was another checkpoint and they went through everything again and then we were led to the "K" section that is to the left of the waiting room. The K section consisted of 4 blue ... read complete review

The consulate doors opened at 7:30am. First stop was security. We emptied all our pockets, took off our coats, mitts & hats and walked through the metal detector. After we cleared security I was given a small, laminated square piece of paper that said "A Window 9" and we were told to wait in the adjacent room (in front of an elevator) until a guard came to take us up to the 19th floor. We waited for about 15-20 minutes. Several other people (10-15) arrived during this time.

As soon as the guard removed the rope from in front of the elevator, we hustled to the front of the line so we could be first on; we went straight to the back. When we reached the 19th floor (it was the only stop), the rear doors opened and so we were first ones off. To get to Window #9, you walk straight past the vending machines and hang... read complete review
